Exporting deck from app to txt/xls

Exporting deck from app to txt/xls

Postby AlexHR » Wed Jun 04, 2025 3:51 am

Hello everyone,
first I just want to say this is probably the most used app on my phone and has been for years, I have used it for everything from language study to work-specific abbreviation lists, prep for various exams and certifications and more.
The question is, is there a way I can export data from a deck back to a desktop-editable format (.txt or .xls/.xlsx)?
I have started with an imported deck, and over time I have added a large number of cards directly through the app. Now I would like to export it back to .txt or .xls in order to be able to use the data for other purposes. Is there a way this can be done?
Thanks in advance,
Alex

Hi Alex,

I'm glad you like the app. Thanks!

You can export a deck. Swipe left on the deck, tap the gray Edit button.
Notice the "Deck Code". Is it filled out? If you imported from Google Drive, OneDrive, or Dropbox, it will start with G: O: or D:
If you imported from my website, it will just be the code (no spaces)

Tap "Export/Share"
If you are using Google Drive, OneDrive, or Dropbox, you can export there. I think the default will be "Excel" format.
You can also export via Email.
You can include statistics in your exported flashcards if you want.
