How to delete a deck - and a question about Quizlet

Postby patrick_here » Mon Apr 22, 2013 9:33 pm

Hello,
I just purchased the deluxe version (Android). Two questions:

1. How do I delete a deck?
2. When I log into Quizlet, "My Quizlet Sets" only shows sets I have created. If I study other quizlet sets they will show up in my account in quizlet.com as "Your Sets" but on "Flashcards Deluxe" they don't show up in "My Quizlet Sets" unless I created them myself. What's going on?

Hi Patrick,

1) To delete tap "Edit" (at top right of main Decks screen), "Delete", select decks then tap "Delete" to finish.
2) If you want my app to show decks that aren't yours (and that aren't in a group you belong to), you need to add them to your favorites. In the set's main page, look for the "Add to favorites" button along the right. I'm not sure if it's even possible, but I don't have any plans to show studied decks in my app that aren't your favorite like Quizlet.com does.

Okay that all works for me ...and I'm okay with having to designate the set as a "favorite" ...just didn't realize that was how to do it.

Doesnt seem very intuitive for deleting decks. See proposed process after current process

Current process
1 edit
2 click delete
3 select deck
4 click different delete button

Proposed process
Select deck
Click delete button

Hi rothvin,

Thanks for the feedback. I'll add this to my list of things to consider. I'm not sure if I like this new approach better, but I do agree less taps is generally better. I'll give it some thought.
