Global Font Settings

Global Font Settings

Postby salutis » Wed Sep 21, 2011 3:15 am

Hi there!

Maybe I am just blind, but I cannot find global font settings. I would like to set Futura font as the default one for all my decks and card sides. Is it possible? There are so many settings that I would be surprised if not. :)

Hi.
There are two main setting screens:
Global Options - from main deck screen, tap gear icon in top-left
Deck Options - from study screen, tap gear icon in top-right

To change the font, to to Deck Options > Font / Alignment > Font
(You main need to turn Advanced menus on in the Deck Options screen if you haven't done so.)

Having said all that, I don't offer the Futura font as an option. It seems this font is fairly similar to the default font, Helvetica. I only offer a few font options, to try to keep things a little more simple. Sorry about that.

It worked! Thank you so much.

I've found it here:
Deck Options > Font / Alignment > Font > Text 1 > By Deck > All Decks > $FONT
Deck Options > Font / Alignment > Font > Text 2 > By Deck > All Decks > $FONT

BTW, isn't it a bit funny to have such a basic thing like a global font setting in Dock Options, 7 levels deep in menu and only for every side separately? Maybe there could be Font / Alignment also in Global Options. :)

Anyway, your app is really amazing! It has some user interface issues but even though it's certainly the best SRS learning app on the whole iOS platform worth even $29.99+ price.

Thanks. Yeah, a single setting in the Global Options screen might be a good idea. It's a bit buried because I think it's not a very common setting, but I totally understand what you're saying.
