I can now keep my decks in Evernote! After many hours if dicking around, i ended up using a combination of Evernote(to keep/edit my decks), VisualStudioCode (to translate my own unique \\'s to [TAB]'s, and the website to paste the deck into FCD... for the benefit of those who may want to try this... i've scratched my notes below... i like that i can easily go into Evernote to quickly review, edit, etc, then move into FCD to do random quizzes, let TTS read q&a to me while exercising, etc... (i gave up letting the website translate my \ to [TAB] as it was screwing up, plus, i use \ in some of my notes, eg a URL such as windoze folders (c:\temp\whatever...), so using my own unique \\ lets me get around all of these problems...
To xfr deck to app... (VSC=VisualStudioCode, FCD=FlashcardsDeluxePro)
-Ensure \\ between Q and A cards (my special delimiter)
-For multi-line, put a "|" at end
-Select/Copy then paste (between ===== =====), and Paste into VSC temp blank document
-Replace \\ with TABs (get TAB chr from HERE or attached txt file (opens in textedit by default in Evernote))
(This trick from Ernie (FCD Developer (HERE=https://orangeorapple.com/Flashcards/TextSample.txt))
-Copy/Paste from VSC into
https://orangeorapple.com/Flashcards/Upload.aspx (now has [TAB]s vs \\)
===
-In FlashcardsDeluxeApp... "+"(UR)> PrivateDeck> DeckCode:(eg fcj1)> Save> DownloadCards...
=== now set up TTS
-TTS: PickDeck> Gear(UL!)> Sound> TextToSpeech(TTS)(Top!)>
-Voice1/Questions(English-USA)
-Voice2/Answers(English-British)
-If you want continuous auto-play, double-tap the large "play" triangle icon
(if you don't see it, check that you have TTS enabled on the deck)
(if you only see voice1 (not voice2) check if your cards have side2 (answers)
