Hi,

Start at the top-level "Decks" screen
tap gear icon at top-left to get to Global Options > Other > Auto Correct / Auto Capitalize

Hi Ernie

Any idea why toggling this Setting would have no effect ?

I‘m currently testing the Lite version on iOS (iOS 17) to confirm that this app does what I‘m looking for. So far so good except I‘m not able to turn off the text-suggestions shown on top of the keyboard (I guess that’s what is meant with auto-correct?)

My use case is that my kid is learning how to type words and so I‘m giving her the word in audio and she has to spell it. The autocomplete feature is definitely ruining the experience 😄

Cheers

Ah, these settings do not affect the study screen / spelling tests.
But I do see that Apple is offering up suggestions for a spelling test. That isn't right!
Let me look at this tomorrow and I'll post a follow up response.
I'm expecting to release a new update soon, so I'll have this fixed for the next update (unless I can't remove, but I hope that's not the case)

Nice! Looking forward to test this.
And huge kudos for being so responsive! What a great job after all these years!
