Hi,
Deck Options > Sound > TTS
Tap "Voice 1".
Do you see option for "Amazon Polly" at bottom? If so, that is good, meaning you have a newer version of the app.
The old iSpeech voices are no longer supported, so maybe that is what you have selected, which no longer works.
Tap "Amazon Polly" and select one of their voices, and try a download.
If you don't see Amazon Polly, you'll need to update the app.
