putting a deck on hold

putting a deck on hold

Postby manjade » Mon Jan 02, 2023 5:12 am

is there a way of putting a deck on hold so that it is frozen in time and doesn't ask to be studied at all? (I need a break from some decks while learning other things and when I see cards need studying it makes me want to study them, so I would rather not see that at all)
the only way round this I can think of is by exporting to drive and then deleting in from the app (would this work?)
Maybe pushing back the due dates would also work?
any tips would be much appreciated

Hi,

1) Change the card order to "Ordered". That will turn off showing you due cards. Progress will be kept.
2) When you later turn back on Spaced Repetition, use the Push Back Due Dates so the the number of due cards are then "under control". I don't have a way to know how much you need to move forward, but you can guess. You can enter a negative number if you push back to far and nothing is due.
