Can't get a new password

I'm using Flashcards regularly, and I use the sync feature to be able to use it on multiple devices (iPhone & iPad). Now I bought a new phone and don't find my password. When I use the feature 'Password forgotten' (on the website), the system says that it can't find me. However my username (KurtVD) seems to be the right one (I can find my posts from 2019), and the e-mail address I gave is the same that I can see in the app (in Settings/My Account).
I wouldn't mind creating a new account, I just wanna be sure that this won't erase all my decks (at this time, they're only on one device, which makes me a little nervous...)
