displaying pipe character

Hi Ernie,

App still fab and excellent fit for purpose.

Need to know what the escape character is that will allow me to display a pipe character in my flashcards.
e.g. in P(A) = P(A|B)

I don't have an "escape" character, but hopefully you can just copy-paste this character into your text.

Can you check your suggestion works for you?
If so, can you type out exactly what you entered so I can see where I went wrong?

My attempts have simply been treated as new line characters by the app.

Copy the following text:

a∣b

I uploaded this as deck code: test9

You can download and see the vertical bar between the a and b. I think this what you are looking for. Note that this is not the normal pipe character, but it looks very similar. In order to use this pipe in your own text, copy it from the text above.

Thanks Ernie, that workaround definitely works.

Please repost the text you used to display the character - unfortunately the text you type is displayed as the character on the forum page so it remains a black-box solution for me!
