TTS problem with auto-generated sound names

TTS problem with auto-generated sound names

Postby Petr » Mon Aug 15, 2011 12:42 am

Hi Ernie,

it seems that the app has problem with special characters in the auto-generated sound names, e.g., I see it in spanish "ñ" in "añadir". Could you create the file names in a way that your application is happy with it? :-)

The error message pop-ups during card export / import.

Thanks and regards

Hi Petr,

You'll need to export to Dropbox to export TTS sounds with special characters.

I just tried allowing special characters, but when I downloaded the zip file that my server created, the special characters did not come through, so something isn't working there. So for at least the time being, you'll need to export to Dropbox. Sorry.

I just updated the website to work with special characters in the sound file names.
You can now export TTS sounds through this website.

There is no longer any restriction with media file names using this website, other than standard Windows file name restrictions.
