The dropbox sync might work OK for you, but it's not fully automatic. After studying, the app will export your entire deck to Dropbox when you close the app. This is automatic, though not very efficient for large decks. On your other device, you'll get a sync notification that there is an update in Dropbox you can download. You can then select the deck for download to manually start the update process (Dropbox to app).
You might as well give it a try.
Your case is a very edge case scenario. It's not easy for me to support such long text with the way I store my data on the server, so I haven't programmed support for it, nor do I plan to anytime soon.
Or maybe consider breaking up the text into smaller parts and storing on extra sides or cards.
