Your current option is to put the decks on your own web server. See the page:
http://orangeorapple.com/Flashcards/PersonalWeb.aspx

For the deck code, you just specify the URL path of the text file on your own private/protected server.

The version after this upcoming one will feature downloading from your private/personal Dropbox account, so this will be another way to keep your data secure.

Dear Ernie,

Is there any chance that a future version will include the ability to load decks securely, in some way that doesn't use a public server? I have to memorize hundreds of employee names and faces, information that our IT folks guard carefully. Unless I can directly load decks to my phone -- via iTunes, Google docs, or some other way that requires authentication -- IT won't budge. They're more than happy to work with me, though, if I can show them that the connection is locked down. Please help!

Many thanks,
Helpless in upper management
