For backing up... at the main screen, tap Edit, the deck, then Export. One option is to backup to my server. You then use the Export page on my website to send to your PC. Afterwards, you can use the "Delete your Deck" link on the Upload page to delete from my server. If you don't want to go through my server, you can export by email. Just change the "Export To" option in the export screen. You can export all decks at once this way, and it just goes right to your email.

I will be providing other exporting options in the future.

As for copying/moving cards between decks, please see my FAQ section:

This is a great application, but have a couple of questions regarding Flashcard Deluxe and my iPad.

1. How can I back up a private deck on my iPad or onto its synced PC? Prefer to keep a few of my decks private and off your server, but, having invested much time in them, would hate to lose the decks.

2. Can I, and if so, how can I copy an individual card from one deck and paste it into another deck?

Thanks, again, for an excellent application.
