Hi Ernie,

thxs for your quick response.
When looking to the card edit/detail screen I could see the speaker icon in the Sound-row, there was a Play-Button and the sound was played correctly.
However in the learning mode (white text on black screen) the Play-Button didn't occur.
Then I changed the header of the sound-row from "Sound 1" to "Sound 2" in the Excel-File, up- and downloaded it and then I could see the Play-Button.
Al last I changed "Sound 2" back to "Sound 1" and tried again, and now it works as it should.
Maybe the Excel-File was damaged or anything else...

Thxs a lot!
Best, Roman

Hi Roman,

I don't know. It looks like you've set it up correctly. I'm also not sure why uploading a zip to my website would behave differently than individual files.

After adding from OneDrive, go to a card edit/detail screen and look at the "Sound 1" row and see if there's an icon in that row. I assume you'll see either a valid speaker icon (in which case you should see a play button in study screen), or a "missing document" icon, in which case you've defined the sound file OK but the app was now able to find or download successfully.

Do you want to email me your files and I can try? If so, zip up your xlsx and media folder.

Media downloaded - Media files aren't shown by the App

Hello,

I'm wondering what's going wrong.

I uploaded an Excelfile named "Test.xlsx" to OneDrive with the following content:
Text 1 Text 2 Sound 1
a ein, eine a - ein, eine.mp3
a bit ein bisschen a bit - ein bisschen.mp3
a lot of viel, viele a lot of - viel, viele.mp3
a.m. morgens a.m. - morgens.mp3
about ungefähr, gegen about - ungefähr, gegen.mp3

The mp3's are in the folder "Test Media".
After downloading the Excel-File, Flashcard Deluxe says "Media downloaded".
But the mp3's arent shown with the Text (The Play-Button isn't visible),
no matter if the Mediafolder is uploaded to OneDrive or via the orangeorapple-Website,
as normal folder or as zip-file...
The only way to make the Play-Button visible is to upload the Audio-Files one by the other via the website...
Why aren't they playable, although the Mediafiles are downloaded by the App?

Thxs a lot, best,
Roman
