You need to move your decks out of the folder first before you can delete the folder. To do this, tap Edit, the folder, then uncheck all the checked decks (the ones currently in the folder).

Love your new format, although it takes some getting used to.
My question is. i seem to have got my folders muddled up so
How do I delete the folders but still retain the individual decks ?
