Salutis,

Sorry, I'm not going to be much help here.
As for the gapped text, you understand your two options well. There is no special functionality to insert answers into the spaces. I've made a note of this idea.

Also, there's no way to apply the card layout of the source deck. Providing this option is something on my possible to-do list, but it probably won't happen anytime real soon.

Also, is it possible for combination deck to inherite the card layout of the currently presented card from its original deck?

Gapped text

Hi again! Do anybody here know what is the most effective way to use a gapped text in FCD?

Example:
In photosynthesis, plants convert _____ to _____ using energy from sunlight.

Currently, my setup is that I put the gapped text on the first side of a card and the missing word(s) on the second side. Then I set card layout to "Add Front on Back". My setup is not that bad, but it would be better to see the word(s) in it's proper place. Especially when there are two or three of them.

Is there a tag for gapped text or a better way than mine? I know that I can put the whole sentence on the other side too, but in that case it would cause a lot of redundancy. Anybody, please?

Thanks!
