Hmm, good point. No, the app doesn't have this feature. Pictures will get shown as large as possible, a basically be centered vertically. I will make a note of this and see about making some way to improve this for when people are using the drawing feature.
Below is a workaround, but it requires you to add text to each card. Adding text will force the picture smaller because the app will need to create space for the text:
1) To shrink the picture, add text to the same size, text which is just new-lines. So make about 10 new lines. If using Excel, you can type ||||||||||
2) Put the picture at the top: Global Options > View > Picture Above Text
3) As for shrinking the picture more than usual, this is a little trickier. The way to do it is to adjust a custom Card Layout:
Deck Options > Card Layout
Tap "Custom 1" to select
Tap "Edit", Custom 1, Side 1->2, Side 1, Picture, Size.. and change to 0.5 (for 50% of orig size)
The above will affect the side 1 picture when "Show Side First" is set t 1.
