Hi Flokk.

Intervals have some randomization added to them to try to combat cards clumping together.

I don't really have a sync, but you can export to my server easily, then update/add a deck on another device. Use the same deck code on both devices, then to update tap Edit, the deck, re-download, replace all cards. I might try to do a real sync at some point, but it gets tricky resolving changes from two devices.

Spaced repetition interval calculation bug?

Post by Flokk » Sat May 07, 2011 4:18 am

First of all, I wanna say that flashcards is one of the best apps I bought on the apps store and I love to work with it.

Now my question:
I'm using the spaced repetition mode for learning and I have a question with an interval of 5 days and 17 hours. I answered the question correct and I expected a new interval of 5d17h * 1.4 = 7d23.8h rounded 8d but the statistic for this question displays only 7d and 15h. Only a small difference but reproducible for all questions. Do you use a special rounding or some other magic??

Thanks for your answer and thumbs up!!!
Flokk

Ps.: easy sync between different iOS devices would be great.
