Hey Dougal,

Oh man, this is a little tough. Ok, nice catch. I'll see what I can do. Yeah, it's double counting, fixing it may not be very straightforward for arguably a small issue, and an option to hide may be appropriate. Just not sure yet how to tackle but it's on my list now.

Thanks for the support!

BUG: Due count for folders is sometimes incorrect

Post by doogooroo » Fri Mar 11, 2011 9:13 pm

Hi Ernie,

Just thought I'd flag a bug.

The due count for folders is incorrect if the folder contains a combination deck AND the original source decks.

So for instance, let's say my Japanese folder contains a "Japanese readings" combination deck which is made up from three original "source" decks (names, places, general).

If each of the source decks has one item due, the "Japanese readings" combination deck will show that 3 items is due (which is fine obviously). However, if you go up one level, the folder will say that 6 items are due. It seems to be summing the source decks AND the combination deck. However, when you click on the combination deck, naturally there are only 3 cards to review.

I've mentioned before I'm not a fan of the due counts being shown by default (visual clutter etc) but, if you're going to keep them, it'd be good if this bug could be fixed.

Cheers,

Dougal
